Hello Hello! I’m so excited to share with you my full book tour for Chinese Enough!!! Hitting the road, talking about cookbooks, and connecting with all of you in person is truly one of my favorite parts of this job! I’m so thankful to be able to stop in so many cities this Fall. I’ll see you in San Francisco, Seattle, LA, Brooklyn, DC, Philadelphia, Portland, Austin, and even got to fit in a few home state stops in Hudson and Cincinnati! My new pub date is October 1, due to some slight shipping delays, but anyone who pre-orders and attends my events at Omnivore Books and in Seattle at Book Larder and Tivoli will receive their cookbooks early!
Check out the full tour poster below and you can find more details and ticket links to specific events on the tour page of my website! Many of the events require a ticket or reservation, which includes a copy of the book, so make sure to book soon if you want to attend! Comment if you have any questions!
It’s going to be such a fun few weeks and I can’t wait to see you!
Cookbook Conversations + Restaurant Pop-ups!
, Tim Ma, Asha Loupy, Alyse Whitney, and Lauren Ko are a few chefs and authors that I’m so honored to call friends and I can’t wait to chat with them and geek out on stage about food and culture! In addition to partnering with amazing bookstores for author talks, you’ll also find me in a some incredible restaurants around the country being a food runner (I was a waitress in college so I promise not to drop your food!) while the restaurant serves dishes inspired by Chinese Enough! This is honestly such a dream! I wish I could host everyone in my home for dinner, but this way you’ll all get a little taste of my food. It will also be so interesting to see how all these different restaurants interpret the recipes and make them their own!
You’ll be able to try recipes from Chinese Enough at Tivoli in Seattle, Woon Kitchen in LA, Farm To People in Brooklyn, High Street Restaurant and Bakery in Philadelphia, and Xiao Ye in Portland! Let’s eat together!
Can’t Make it to a Book Tour Stop?
There’s a chance I might be able to go to more cities next year, but if you’re not able to attend any book tour stops in person this Fall you can still join in on the book tour fun from the comfort of your home!
I’ll be teaching a exclusive virtual wonton making class on September 19th at 5pm PST (will be recorded for anyone who can’t attend the live class) for anyone who has pre-ordered a copy of Chinese Enough. We will be making the Chicken, Corn, and Jalapeno Wontons in Miso Butter and it will also be your time with me to ask any questions you might have! There will also be a fun gift giveaway at the end of the class for one lucky attendee! All you have to do is go to this link and submit your receipt to get the virtual class information, plus 3 early recipes from Chinese Enough!
You can order signed copies of Chinese Enough from Omnivore Books and copies with signed book plates from Now Serving, Bold Fork Books, Vivienne’s, and Read it and Eat.
I seriously can’t wait for you to get your copy of Chinese Enough and see you on tour!!! I wish Olive could come! Thank you to everyone who has supported this book and me over the last few years, it means the world to me! 🧡
