What to look for when getting a clay pot? Claypot rice is also popular in Vietnamese cooking but they usually are not supposed to last long.

I like to look for a slightly thicker sturdy bottom if that makes sense. The first one I ever bought for myself was a little thin and I would often burn the rice easier even when cooking on low. I was more swayed by the design of it but it just didn't function the same!
