Welcome back and congratulations again on your launch! This granola looks incredible. Very similar to how I make it, but I’ve never thought to add egg whites! I will now!

YAY, so glad this recipe is out in the world. I've actually never heard of hemp hearts before and have only just started eating hemp seeds in my little breakfast bite things I've been making. Cannot wait to make this. Granola really is so special!! Also - such a good gift! Thanks for sharing. <3

I keep sprinkling hemp hearts on everything! I’m into them!

I was thinking of gifting jars of granola with some freeze dried berries and dark chocolate for a valentines gift for some girlfriends!

Love that this recipe has a twist! I am not much of texture kind of person, but I once made a plantain granola before (and I used less sweetening agent because the plantains are already too soft and mushy). I will try next time on how the addition of egg whites will change things ♥️

I have a stupid question: should the buckwheat groats be rinsed, and cooked/boiled first? Same with quinoa - should it be rinsed? cooked or boiled first? And what is a good substitute for hemp hearts? Thank you.

Not a dumb question! Both the groats and quinoa don’t need to be cooked first, they get toasted in the oven. I don’t normally rinse my groats but depending on where you buy them from it might not hurt to give them a quick rinse. You can sub the hemp hearts with any of the other mix-ins noted in the recipe.
