That trip home story sounds very dreamy and delightful! What a gift! <3

I love the idea of helping people overcome the mental barriers to making a good meal. That is amazing and generous. That being said, I also love learning about exploring new ingredients, so it's all a win-win for me personally hehe. This looks so good. I really need to buy green beans more!

New ingredients are definitely a mental barrier for me 😭 love when recipes include info on where to buy stuff if it’s not obvious or substitutions 😮‍💨

Joe made this tonight and all we can say is WOW! This is a really REALLY great dish. Adding it to our must do again recipes. The flavors are wonderful. The spice heat level is nice - not overwhelming at all, and hits at the back of the throat. Joe was sweating a little from his forehead - but in no way is that a bad thing - he was loving this dish! THANK YOU Kristina for a wonderful meal!

Chopping an onion was a mental barrier for a long time. These days, I don’t mind the chopping quite as much. But the peeling! Ugh. Love these photographs, Kristina. The recipe looks great too.

I'm w you on that jet lag when visiting home. My husband would be raring to go while I head for that childhood bed. (Hawaii to Michigan is brutal.)

My husband is the same way! Ready to get home and go to the bed at the same time no matter the time change… and oof I would be nocturnal if I was traveling from Hawaii!
