Thank you for this recipe Kristina! While sample size is limited, this is the best pound cakes I’ve baked so far. So moist, perfect amount of sweetness balanced by the hint of savoury and tart!
I love a pound cake so much, especially lemon ones. Never tried with miso but this sounds like such a good idea. There's nothing like sitting with a fresh slice of pound cake and a cup of coffee. Just the best.

I think red miso would be interesting! Definitely don’t think it’s a bad idea! Might just be a more intense savory flavor!

I usually have doenjang in the fridge rather than miso… I might give that a try but do you think the chunkier texture will negatively affect the loaf?
I think it could be okay! Sometimes I use a locally made miso that is on the chunkier side!
